Maintenance Operative
Position: Maintenance Operatives
Salary: £15,600 per anum
Job Description:
We are looking for someone with a minimum of 3 years property maintenance experience. The ideal candidate would be someone who enjoys varied role, is reliable, hard-working and friendly. Below is a
brief overview of the type of work we carry out at RightChoice.
Track and trace leaks, isolating water supplies, repair or replace pipe work, tiling, bathroom refurbishments, remedial repairs after a leak, repair or replace locks Yale or Digi, hang doors, repair or replace guttering, roof repairs, replacing double glazed units, painting and decorating, plastering.
The above is a small description of the different type of work we receive on a day to day basis. We are looking for someone who is able to carry out all of the above either on their own or as part of a team.
We require someone with their own transport and basic tools. Our work is based in and around Greater Manchester we deal with both commercial and domestic customers and you will need to be able to communicate with customers on site and liaise with our office after each job is completed with a full update. We are a small company looking to expand as we have plenty of work to offer.
The starting salary is £15,600 per anum on a self-employed basis which will be reviewed after a 3 month probation.

Salary: £ 6.90 - £7.45 pay rate

Must hold full UK driving license and have own car for work.
Main Duties:
To assist customers who need help getting up and going to bed in the morning and evenings, including dressing and undressing, washing, bathing and going to the toilet.
To help customers with their mobility and with any physical disabilities, including incontinence and use of personal aids and equipment.
To care for customers who are temporarily sick and need bed nursing and help with feeding etc.
To provide care and support for customers who are terminally ill.
To help in the promotion of mental and physical activities of customers through talking, outings, reading, writing, hobbies and recreations.
To make and change beds, light cleaning, emptying commodes and general tidying.
To inspect, launder and mend customers' clothes.
To set tables and trays, prepare and serve light meals, clearing away and washing up.
To read and write reports and be involved in customers' reviews and training activities.
To adhere to all Caremark's policies and procedures at all times.
To report either to the Field Care Supervisor or Care Manager any significant changes in the health or circumstances of a customer.
To encourage the independence of customers wherever possible.

Can work Flexibly as we provide care between 7am - 11pm
Are Self Motivated & Well organised
Are Caring & sensitive to the needs of others
Ability to use own initiative.
Ability to communicate effectively.
